New STAIRs information now available

Stairs (1)

From 1 October 2026, a new national scheme called the Social Tenants' Access to Information Requirements (STAIRs) comes into effect.

STAIRs is designed to help customers quickly find information about how their landlord operates, understand how decisions are made and see how services are performing.

We've created a dedicated STAIRs webpage, bringing together important information about we deliver our homes and services, in one easy-to-find place.

What information can I find?

Our STAIRs page includes information about:

  • How we're governed and how decisions are made
  • How money from rent and service charges is spent
  • How we manage and invest in homes
  • How we're performing as a landlord
  • The housing services and support available to customers
  • Our policies, plans and strategies for social housing
  • Ways customers can get involved and help shape services

You'll also find links to important reports, policies and performance information.

What if information is missing?

If you think information should be included in our STAIRs publication scheme but can't find it, you can ask us to review it.

We'll look into your request and let you know the outcome. If you're not happy with our response, or if you don't receive a response, you may be able to seek further advice from the Housing Ombudsman Service.

Looking ahead

From 1 April 2027, social housing customers will also have the right to request specific information directly from their landlord about the management of their home.

We'll share more details about this closer to the launch date.
