Become a PDRHA Board Member

board wrha members

Peak District Rural Housing Association (PDRHA) has a number of vacancies for voluntary Board members keen to help shape the future of specialist rural housing.

We've been around for more than 30 years, providing affordable rural homes for local people where they're most needed. We provide homes for over 300 households in the Peak District and rural Derbyshire and are continually working to bring new schemes to reality.

What type of people are we looking for?

We're looking for people with a commitment to helping sustain rural communities through the provision of affordable housing.

We're particularly keen to hear from people with a passion for affordable housing and working with local communities, as well as experience in any of the following topics:

  • housing finance
  • business development
  • PR, media and communications, including social media and digital engagement
  • legal expertise
  • operating in a regulated environment.

An appreciation of the resident experience is also desirable.

Applications from people with disabilities and people from an ethnic minority background, are especially welcomed, and PDRHA residents and those who live in affordable housing are actively encouraged to apply.
